Masterclasses in Psoriatic Disease for APP+ offers accreditation/CME certification intended for physicians and their extenders in multiple therapeutic areas including dermatology and rheumatology.

This activity is jointly provided by Medical Education Resources and Masterclasses in Psoriatic Disease for APP+

Target Audience: NPs, PAs. RNs, Medical Assistants, Residents/Fellows, New to Practice Physicians, Pharmaceutical Industry Medical Liaisons and though Leader Liaisons in the fields of Dermatology and Rheumatology.

Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

  • Describe the relationship between the pathophysiology of psoriatic disease and the mechanism of action of new, existing and emerging treatments.
  • Outline the roles of current and emerging topical, oral and other systemic treatments for psoriatic disease and its co-morbidities.
  • Develop collaborative care guidance that improves the management of psoriatic patients with systemic manifestations and co-morbidities.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of Medical Education Resources (MER) and Cosmetic Bootcamp.  MER is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Certification Board recognizes and accepts continuing education (CE) for approximately 12.5 contact hours from activities approved by AMA, ACCME, ANCC, AANP, AAFP and AACN.

American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA)

Medical Education Resources has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for approximately 12.5 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
