Dr. Elman is a dual board-certified dermatologist and internist who works as an Assistant Professor in the Dr. Phillip Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Harvard, where he stayed to complete his combined residency in internal medicine and dermatology. His clinical and research interests include complex medical dermatology, rheumatologic dermatology and inpatient dermatology. He serves as the Assistant Director of Inpatient Dermatology at the University of Miami Hospital, and is the Medical Director and Director of the Autoimmune Connective Tissue Disease clinic at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Elman enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with his wife and daughter.
